Z-Wave region checker

Z-Wave region checker: answer the short questions below, then use the result to verify the exact product and installation requirements.

Run the check

US and European Z-Wave devices use different regional frequency plans. Pairing requires a controller built and configured for the same region. The Aeotec Smart Home Hub 2 has no Z-Wave radio in the official comparison, even though the earlier hub does. A separate Z-Wave controller may be required.

How to read the result

A region mismatch is a reason to stop the direct-radio pairing attempt. It does not rule out every separately documented cloud or bridge integration.

Confirm the exact US model number and current manufacturer instructions before installation or purchase. A checklist outcome is a prompt for verification, not a certification.
