• Thread border-router path for Thread devices

Confirm the latest app screens with the manufacturer. Menu labels can change. Do not enter a Matter QR or setup code on this site.

Pairing steps

1. Separate the Matter controller from the radio adapter role.
2. Dedicate a supported adapter to Zigbee or Thread rather than assuming both simultaneously.
3. Check local routing and discovery.
4. Use the supported companion-app commissioning workflow.
5. Validate device entities and firmware behavior.

Confirm it worked

• Device entities remain responsive on the local network

Test the particular function you need. A device appearing in the app does not prove that advanced features, automations or remote control are available.

If pairing fails

• Do not expose Matter services or unauthenticated camera/control ports to the public internet.
